Dr. Radha Reddy

Dr. Radha R Chada, Lead Clinical Dietitian having more than 25 years of experience in nutrition research, teaching, training and presently working at AIG Hospitals, Gachibowli.
Radha Chada is a Registered Dietician with a PhD in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. She specializes and has keen interest in Critical Care Nutrition, Surgical Nutrition and Metabolic Disorders.

She has been instrumental in setting protocols in the nutrition department and raising the clinical nutrition standards in the hospital to an appreciably high level of patient rating.

She is the executive member of Indian Dietetic Association (IDA), Telangana Chapter and Indian Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ISPEN). She is also instrumental in starting the southern chapter of Society of Renal Nutrition and Metabolism (SRNM). She has collaborated with SRNM and has successfully completed a 3-month certificate course in Advanced Certificate Course in Renal Nutrition, conducted for dieticians and medical doctors in 2020. She was the Organizing Chairperson for the International Congress of PENSA 2022 in Hyderabad, India.

She is constantly exposed to clinical nutrition practices across the globe. She has research papers published in National and International journals on Clinical Nutrition. Recent paper accepted and published in ASPEN peer reviewed journal Nutrition in Clinical Practice, titled “Association between nutrition delivery, mNUTRIC score, and 28-day mortality” and ESPEN peer reviewed journal Clinical Nutrition ESPEN, titled “Tailoring nutrition therapy amid the COVID-19 pandemic: Does it work?” in 2021.

ASPEN peer reviewed journal named Journal of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, titled “Energy expenditure in COVID‐19 mechanically ventilated patients: A comparison of three methods of energy estimation” in 2022.

She has presented papers and awarded prizes in National and International Conferences, namely:
