Radha R Chada, Lead Clinical Dietitian and HoD, Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad, India, having 30 years of experience in nutrition research, teaching, training in the areas of Clinical Nutrition, and Dietetics.

Radha Chada is a Registered Dietitian with a PhD in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. She specializes and has keen interest in malnutrition, body composition, Critical Care Nutrition, perioperative nutrition, metabolic disorders and Public health nutrition.

She has been instrumental in setting protocols in the nutrition department and raising the clinical nutrition standards in the hospital to an appreciably high level of patient rating.

She is the executive member of Indian Dietetic Association (IDA), President-Elect, Indian Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ISPEN), National executive member of Nutrition Society of India (NSI), and Treasurer of Society for Renal Nutrition and Metabolism, Southern Chapter (SRNM). She was the Organizing Chairperson for the International Congress of PENSA 2022 in India.

She has presented papers and awarded in National and International Conferences, namely ASPEN, ESPEN, PENSA, AICNU since a number of years. She is an invited subject expert speaker at many scientific forums every year.
She is constantly exposed to clinical nutrition practices across the globe. She has research papers published in National and International journals on Clinical Nutrition. She has 16 peer reviewed international journal papers, authored 6 book chapters, and 25 abstract publications. She is also a reviewer for journals like Nutrition in Clinical Practice (ASPEN Journal), Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Springer Scientific Reports, and World Nutrition Journal.

Currently serving as Assistant General Manager/ Head of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at Healthcare Global, Bangalore, she has held leadership roles in top hospitals and contributed significantly to quality improvement, clinical research, and training. A PhD graduate from the National Institute of Nutrition, Dr. Sathiaraj has published extensively in national and international journals, and her work has been recognized by awards from various nutrition societies and other leading bodies. Her expertise spans management, business development, and evidence-based clinical practice.

Dr. Daphnee is a Registered Clinical Dietitian with over 28 years of experience in clinical nutrition.
She serves as the Director of the Apollo Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics Internship Program (ACNDIP) and played a pivotal role in establishing the Nutrition Steering Committee at Apollo Hospitals.
She holds a PhD in Clinical Nutrition with a specialization in liver transplant nutrition and has completed the Professional Diploma in Clinical Research (PDCR).

Dr. Daphnee is actively involved in academic governance as a Board of Studies member in Nutrition at Women’s Christian College, Manipal University, and Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science & Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore. She also contributes to the ASPEN Malnutrition Committee.

Dr. Daphnee has several publications in international journals and serves as a reviewer for JPEN, Journal of Human Nutrition & Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition Open Access, and Journal of Liver Transplantation. She has authored and co authored chapters in key nutrition texts including the Apollo Clinical Nutrition Handbook, My Food, My Health, Textbook of Critical Care Nutrition, and A Complete Nutrition Guide: Adolescence to Motherhood.

She has led the development of several clinical resources including the Apollo Clinical Nutrition Manual (Adults and Pediatrics) and the Dietitian’s Pocket Books series. Her contributions to quality improvement and innovation in nutrition care have earned her several accolades, including the ET Healthcare Award 2024 for Nutrition Support, the CMO Asia Award 2017 for Best Quality Initiative in Healthcare, and the Apollo Clinical Excellence Award 2018 for the development of the Digital Dietitian Module.

She was also part of the Apollo Hospitals Chennai team that won the “Best of Best” Award in the International Nutrition Survey 2011,competing among 183 hospitals globally.
