Dr. Esther Sathiaraj is a accomplished clinical nutritionist with over 20 years of experience in hospital-based nutrition care, particularly in oncology, gastroenterology and critical care. Currently serving as Assistant General Manager/ Head of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at Healthcare Global, Bangalore, she has held leadership roles in top hospitals and contributed significantly to quality improvement, clinical research, and training. A PhD graduate from the National Institute of Nutrition, Dr. Sathiaraj has published extensively in national and international journals, and her work has been recognized by awards from various nutrition societies and other leading bodies. Her expertise spans management, business development, and evidence-based clinical practice.

Dr. Daphnee is a Registered Clinical Dietitian with over 28 years of experience in clinical nutrition.
She serves as the Director of the Apollo Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics Internship Program (ACNDIP) and played a pivotal role in establishing the Nutrition Steering Committee at Apollo Hospitals.
She holds a PhD in Clinical Nutrition with a specialization in liver transplant nutrition and has completed the Professional Diploma in Clinical Research (PDCR).
Dr. Daphnee is actively involved in academic governance as a Board of Studies member in Nutrition at Women’s Christian College, Manipal University, and Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science & Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore. She also contributes to the ASPEN Malnutrition Committee.
Dr. Daphnee has several publications in international journals and serves as a reviewer for JPEN, Journal of Human Nutrition & Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition Open Access, and Journal of Liver Transplantation. She has authored and co authored chapters in key nutrition texts including the Apollo Clinical Nutrition Handbook, My Food, My Health, Textbook of Critical Care Nutrition, and A Complete Nutrition Guide: Adolescence to Motherhood.
She has led the development of several clinical resources including the Apollo Clinical Nutrition Manual (Adults and Pediatrics) and the Dietitian’s Pocket Books series. Her contributions to quality improvement and innovation in nutrition care have earned her several accolades, including the ET Healthcare Award 2024 for Nutrition Support, the CMO Asia Award 2017 for Best Quality Initiative in Healthcare, and the Apollo Clinical Excellence Award 2018 for the development of the Digital Dietitian Module.
She was also part of the Apollo Hospitals Chennai team that won the “Best of Best” Award in the International Nutrition Survey 2011,competing among 183 hospitals globally.
